Top Reasons Govt Exam Forms Get Rejected & How to Fix Them
Every year lakhs of exam applications are rejected because of simple document upload mistakes. Here are the most common reasons and how to avoid them.
1. Blurry Photo
Face features not clearly visible. Government portals use automated checks that reject photos where facial landmarks cannot be detected. Use natural daylight and ask someone to take your photo from 1 meter away.
2. Signature Size Too Small or Large
File size less than 10KB results in pixelation, while over 50KB gets rejected. Use our Signature Compressor to get the exact size.
3. Wrong Background Color
Using a colored or busy background instead of plain white. Most exams require a clean white background. Take your photo against a white wall or white bedsheet.
4. Wearing Specs or Glasses
Many exams (Police, Defence, Railways) strictly ban glasses in photos. Remove them before taking the photo, even if you wear them daily.
5. Wrong File Name
Using spaces, brackets, or special characters in filename (e.g. "my photo(1).jpg"). Use our File Renamer to fix this instantly.
6. File Format Not Accepted
Uploading PNG, WebP, or HEIC instead of JPG/JPEG. Most portals only accept JPG. Use our Image Converter to convert to JPG.
